The Navy pea coat has a long history dating back 3 whole centuries. Originally of European design, the United States followed suit and came up with their own version. The current issue version is a dark navy blue, these quality reproductions are in a more fashionable black. Despite the incredibly large service time, not much has changed in the design and function of the coat. 

Our latest batch have a 50% wool/nylon blend for warmth and comfort. The lining is made from a smooth polyester so the garment can slip on with ease. Each coat comes with six black buttons embossed with a nautical themed anchor and rope. These firmly slot the front of the jacket together. Should you wish to leave them unbuttoned, you can make use of an internal pocket - a great feature to keep your wallet or valuables hidden away. The coat also has two waist height slash pockets to keep your hands cozy. Completed in the original US Navy style cut, these look sharp both on the street or on the top deck of a vessel.

Sizing: To find your coat size, measure the circumference of your chest, under the armpits. The listed measurements are the maximum chest size. If you're near the listed limit or plan on wearing a thick under garment, we would recommend a size up
